LehighValleyNews.Com Announces Editorial Leadership Team

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA. - September 7, 2022 - Lehigh Valley Public Media announced today that Jim Deegan will serve as the Executive Editor for LehighValleyNews.com, leading the editorial team for the region’s only non-profit news website.  LehighValleyNews.com is expected to launch in October 2022.

Deegan has been named Executive Editor and will continue to serve as Vice President of News, a position he has held since joining the organization in May 2018.  He was previously the Editor and Vice President of Content at the Express-Times, where he led a newsroom of more than 60 employees.

Jen Rehill will serve as Director of News with oversight of the reporting team. She has previously worked as the Program Producer, Reporter, and State Capitol Bureau Chief at WHYY, WITF, and WHP. She was also a reporter for WVIA, WQLN, and WDUQ, and a 9/11 field reporter for NPR.

Deputy Director of News John Moser joined the team in July, after 30 years of experience working for The Morning Call, serving 17 of those years as Assigning Editor. There Moser managed, coordinated coverage for, and facilitated digital transitions for multiple news teams.

Peabody Award Winner Christine Dempsey will serve as Senior Vice President of Radio. She previously worked as Vice President and Chief Content Officer at WHYY, after spending several years with WNYC and WMCA in New York City. Dempsey was also part of the initial team that established WDIY.

Donna Natosi joined Lehigh Valley Public Media as Director of Digital Content in July. She returned to the Lehigh Valley after working in North Carolina at WRAL News as News Engagement Editor, handling news content, social media, website, and marketing. Natosi began her career at WFMZ and went on to gain more than a decade of experience in television with several years leading digital operations teams.
